Mayor of London presents International Busking Day, a free worldwide festival of busking in London

It's back! The Mayor of London-supported free all-day festival, International Busking Day, is returning on Saturday 16th July 2022. A family-friendly day out, taking place on what we hope will be a very sunny day, International Busking Day is all about the hottest home-grown talent and world-class street performers - a free festival you do not want to miss.

Who's performing? With over 120 performers in total, International Busking Day is a great opportunity to support some of the hottest home-grown talent, as well as talent from further afield. This year’s line up includes headliners British country duo The Shires and folk singer songwriter Seth Lakeman, alongside electric string quartet Stringfever, Malawian busker Gasper Nali and Swedish street magician Charlie Caper. Little Stars Circus School is bringing their entire school plus professional performers to provide a whole day of aerial performance, and Leeds based indie band The Dunwells will be performing on the Main Stage to get the crowd going before the amazing headliners.

"I’m curious to see the busking talent around. I always stop and throw some coins to a busker and it’s something I’ve always thought is a wonderful way to travel." - Seth Lakeman, this year's headliner.

London's largest celebration of street performance and artists is returning to Wembley Park for 2022!
