Sophia Petro releases 'Rosé Glow': A Mesmerizing Pop Anthem Illuminating the Night

Melbourne's rising pop sensation, Sophia Petro, is ready to captivate music enthusiasts with her eagerly awaited single, ‘Rosé Glow’, a prelude to her upcoming EP, ‘The 11th Hour’.

At the core of ‘Rosé Glow’ lies a captivating narrative that transports the audience to the exhilarating experience of getting ready for a night out with friends. Sophia Petro artfully paints a vivid picture of the bustling energy of a social gathering, while simultaneously delving into her secret yearnings for a deeper connection with someone who has captured her heart. The song encapsulates those fleeting moments when the "rosé glow" casts an enchanting spell, blurring the lines between reality and possibility.

Behind the magic of ‘Rosé Glow’ is a collaborative effort between Sophia Petro and producer Gabrielle Emery (EMEREE). Together, they fashioned a vibrant and catchy pop anthem that exudes the joy and anticipation of a night out. The track's inception began with Gabrielle laying down a mesmerizing guitar lick, igniting a surge of inspiration in Sophia. She quickly jotted down her lyric ideas, and the song gradually took shape. Sophia's passion for storytelling and Gabrielle's musical finesse harmoniously intertwined to create this unforgettable piece.

Sophia shares, “Gabrielle put down a vibe (the iconic guitar lick at the beginning of the track) and I pulled up my notes app on my phone and started writing down lyric ideas. We wrote up until the end of the first chorus and then I took it home and wrote the remainder of the song that very night because I was so inspired!

Drawing inspiration from iconic artists like Taylor Swift, Maisie Peters, and Gretta Ray, Sophia Petro's musical style is a unique fusion of folk and country with a modern pop-infused twist. Using her songwriting prowess, she masterfully expresses her emotions and experiences, forging deep connections with her audience through relatable storytelling.
