Aztec Flow & Atahan are independent solo Artists from Australia. Aztec is a Rapper, Producer & Filmmaker. Atahan is a Rapper & Artist also. Both of the artists are building up their own Record Label called "Tical Records" whilst also working on their independent projects. They dropped this song with a mutual friend and artist Echo The Don also from Australia and they put together this music video which was also directed by Aztec himself. So firstly, how would you describe your sound?
Very experimental, both me and Atahan are very creative people and like to step outside our own genres and introduce new sounds to our music.
What’s a typical day in the studio like for you?
For me it can be a long one, a lot of takes and deleting old takes trying to get the song to where I want it.
Who are your three biggest musical inspirations?
Probably Kanye West, Lil Skies & Big Sean.
Who is the best band you've ever seen play live?
I've seen few live performances and there’s been a lot of talented acts especially in Sydney.
What’s the toughest part of the industry for you?
Hands down has to be the weird people you run into and act very weird around you haha.
What’s the most enjoyable part of the industry?
The people, the music and the memories you can create.
What’s in store for you for the rest of 2021?
Well me and Atahan have been working on our solo albums which are both dropping next year (dates not announced yet), were very excited about those drops since we’ve been putting a lot of work into those and especially he music videos.
