After 3 years, Alexis Gerred will be launching his highly anticipated first single- Unbreakable, from his upcoming EP, on March 11th.
Gerred is a rising star of West End Theatre & TV and is an English rock singer-songwriter based in London. His known leading roles on stage productions included ‘Our House’, ‘Dreamboat& Petticoats’, and ‘American Idiot’. He also appeared on prime-time BBC1 live television in Eurovision: ‘Your Country Needs You’ (Runner Up) and ‘Let It Shine (Semi-Finalist)’.
On March 11th, Gerred will have his new single “Unbreakable”, a feat with MiG Ayesa. The music will also accompany a B-side “Mary Go Round”, a cover originally by British Rock band The Sturts. “Unbreakable” is about staying driven and focused on one’s dreams, an important message for many in today’s tumultuous world. It is fast-paced, with a smooth combination of both timeless rock influences with modern pop appeal, a range of dynamics, resulting in a distinctive, one-of-a-kind flow.
About the collaboration, MiG Ayesa is the West End and Broadway titan and has starred in such mega-hits as Rock of Ages, Thriller Live, Annie, We Will Rock You, and more. Not only that, but Ayesa is also Gerred’s inspiration and hero. When Gerred was young and unsure what he wanted to do with his life, he saw his first musical- We Will Rock You in London’s West End. His life and career path changed after seeing Ayesa’s stage and his delivery, passion and charisma. So, the opportunity of this collaboration with Ayesa is very meaningful to Gerred!
