Young singing sensation Efi Gjika has released an uplifting Christmas single to get you in the festive mood.
Upbeat and catchy with a gorgeous lead vocal, Ego does not disappoint and gives us everything we expect from her and more, with this latest release. A fabulous performer, we can see Efi in full swing in the music video accompanying the single. Efi represented Albania at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with Barbie, singing in her native language. In ‘Christmas Magic’ she sings eloquently in English, albeit with a touch of accent here and there - which only serves to make the track more heartfelt and authentic.
Sleigh bells give a Christmas feel yet signify so much more in the song’s message: ‘the sleigh bells will be ringing, just like any other year’ sings Efi; despite the pandemic-related turbulence of everything going on in the world, Efi is here to shine a light and spread joy and hope no matter what. The percussion has a swing, giving a beautiful jazzy feel to the track, whilst melodic piano and guitar give a warm glow to the composition.
