Freya Beer Delivers Gothic-Noir Vibes With Her New Single 'Love Child'

Hailing from West London, singer-songwriter Freya Beer is back with the release of her brand new single, and first release of the year, ‘Love Child’. Elevating and showcasing her glam goth noir sound, this is the latest taste of the exciting new sound and artistry we can expect from Freya going forward. Further placing her mark on the music scene, Freya continues to deliver her music with her signature flourish of an old Hollywood screen siren and the dangerous flair of a femme fatale.

A fateful tale of toxic relationships, and lifting the veil on this external saboteur, ‘Love Child’ embraces the vibrant flair of the cinematic noir; bringing listeners into a dark and intoxicating sonic world. And with the themes that run throughout the track touching upon the subject of gaslighting, in comparison to Freya’s previous releases, this is certainly not a love song. Hooking listeners in from the very first note, the gothic alt-rock melody is filled with bold guitar riffs, brooding percussive beats, and emotive string elements.

Alongside the brand new single, Freya has also added to the release with an exciting new music video for the track. A perfect complement to the song, the visuals are simple, but effective; showcasing Freya against a series of coloured backdrops as she performs the track, and feeds into the gothic vibes with the appearance of snakes and expert cinematography and editing.
