After more than five years away from releasing new music, Limahl is making a stylish comeback. The beloved voice behind “Too Shy” and “NeverEnding Story” returns with a reworked version of America’s folk-rock staple “A Horse With No Name.” It's out now on Christopher Music — and it's his first-ever cover.

Melding the sun-drenched vibes of the 1970s with punchy ‘90s electronica and lush synths, the track is a slick update that feels retro and forward-thinking all at once. “The ‘90s have been enjoying a revival,” Limahl says, “so I experimented with the rhythms from that decade.” Featuring a standout Jupiter 8 sequencer and atmospheric production, the result is an ambient pop gem that’s refreshingly modern.

In addition to his studio return, Limahl’s been busy reconnecting with audiences on multiple stages. His recent turn on Comic Relief helped raise a staggering £34 million, while his TikTok moment singing “Too Shy” quickly racked up nearly half a million views, proving his voice still resonates across generations.

From charity galas alongside the Princess Royal to high-profile performances in London and Madrid, Limahl remains a dynamic presence on the European live circuit. And with over 150 million streams of “NeverEnding Story” and 75 million for “Too Shy,” his legacy continues to ripple through pop culture — thanks in part to appearances in Stranger Things, American Horror Story, and Black Mirror.

Now, with this reimagined classic, Limahl adds a new chapter to a storied career — and proves that musical evolution is just part of his neverending story.
