'Open Arms' is the fourth single release from talented trio Posh. The band is of Italian original yet currently based in Germany in the city of Dusseldorf. Comprising of skilled musicians singer and guitarist "Salvo Minnella", the bassist "Federico Salemi" and "Alberto Minnella" on drums and percussion.
During the first decade of the new millennium, the band stands out for its deep and melancholic sound. Listeners are sure to resonate with the warm, rich sonic landscape, paired with a stunning visual...
It's no surprise to hear that the band has enjoyed a fair share of success. In 2007 they represented Italy at the prestigious MIDEM Festival (Marché Internatonal du Disque et de l'Editon Musicale), held in Cannes, France, at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès.
Their latest single 'Open Arms' is a song about pure love. The haunting music video captures the sentiment of this brooding track perfectly. We love the dark chord progression, with luscious layers of synth and tight instrumentation throughout. The use of percussion, strings and layers of rich vocal make for a real treat. The slightly gothic vibe of this is the perfect romantic and dramatic setting for such a powerful ballad. The moon lurks in the midnight sky, a nocturnal owl glides by. There are touches of Radiohead and Depeche Mode. The synths will remind you slightly of the 80s, while the modern touch is also super refreshing and offers a wonderful mix of musical styles for you to enjoy.
The self-denial of a mother for a child, or letting go of the ego for the good of someone or something. This is the sentiment of this song, which is sure to linger long after hearing.

Their album also drops this December 2021, so stay tuned for that.
