Zoé Basha, the French-American musician and composer based in Dublin, has officially released her highly anticipated debut solo album, Gamble. The album, which dropped on April 17, 2025, marks a significant milestone for the artist, who has spent nearly a decade traveling across Europe and Ireland, busking and honing her craft on the streets and backroads.

Blending folk, blues, Americana, jazz, and Irish traditional music, Gamble is a raw, honest exploration of themes such as love, loss, resilience, and the nomadic lifestyle. The album’s lyrics tackle complex subjects like grief, intimacy, and personal identity, offering listeners a glimpse into Basha’s transformative journey through life. Zoé’s voice, often compared to vintage jazz recordings, brings a hauntingly beautiful quality to these deeply personal stories.

Produced by Basha herself, with mixing and mastering handled by Grammy Award-winning engineer Ben Rawlins, the album features contributions from well-known Irish musician Ultan Lavery, who provides keys and organ on several tracks. The album’s standout tracks include the title track "Gamble," "Worried," and "Dublin Street Corners," each showcasing Zoé's genre-defying approach to songwriting and performance.

Basha, who was previously uncertain about her place in the world of music, reflects on her return to songwriting in a recent statement: "Songs kept finding me. They always do." She’s now set to embark on a national tour across Ireland with Lavery, performing the album live for fans throughout April and May 2025.

Gamble is available for streaming and purchase across all major platforms. The album is expected to receive widespread attention as Zoé Basha's unique voice and authentic storytelling continue to resonate with listeners around the globe.
