Get To Know: Eminecee

Meet Eminencee born and raised Houstonian (Houston, Texas) former football player that played some time overseas, also transitioned from street life to a athlete now he is sharing his experiences and his views musically he is also a lyrical bomb threat who is led by his faith with very similar sounds to a conscious rapper he touches on a lot of subjects from world views his stance in his journey his different perceptions relatable viewpoints that has a message for the masses. Has had his share of struggles prior to music, and how he overcame them. Eminencee developed a strong relationship with God and was blessed with a few former NFL players who mentored him to focus on creativity and a better path in life. Eminencee has released a great collection of work including “ Perception” “Abstract” and “Temptation” and " Colors Deluxe'' with highly appraised singles such as “ Nipsy” “Wakanda” “Dream Big'' , “Love Story” and “Act Up”. In May 2021 Eminencee released his critically acclaimed album "Grateful" to a massive positive response and in late 2021 he released his follow up to “ Grateful” entitled “Wake Up” with the lead single “ Three Eyes'' which is getting great reaction from Music Industry Professionals and emerging fans alike. He has embarked on a phenomenal journey and is awaiting for the world to cherish his God given rap skills and undeniable talent.

So firstly, how would you describe your sound?

It’s a unique style hard to pinpoint it’s poetic with a rapper attitude.


What’s a typical day in the studio like for you?

Pretty simple get in get out I work in detail from verses ad libs to chorus proof reading going over sounds things of that nature making it attractive to the ear.


Do you have to be in a certain mood to write a song?

No I write through all emotions that’s what makes great writers.


Who are your three biggest musical inspirations?

Tough questions I’ve been inspired since the mid to late 90’s but artist like mick Jenkins, Lloyd banks , Kendrick Lamar


Who is the best band you've ever seen play live?

Probably Earth Wind and Fire as A kid.


What’s the toughest part of the industry for you?

It’s a popularity contest sometimes it feels like it’s not about the craft or gift.


What’s the most enjoyable part of the industry?

One thing to to that stands out to me when they believe in you your fans base really sticks by you.


What do you have in store for 2022?

Growth and great music as usual finding new sounds outdoing what I’ve done previously pushing to be greater.
