Waver are back—and they’re bringing decades of experience with them.

The acclaimed rock duo have unveiled their powerful new album, Space and Time, a 13-track project that fuses the raw spirit of ’90s rock with the emotional depth of a lifelong creative partnership. Now available worldwide, the release marks a thrilling new chapter for the band.

Mike Sartor and Dorsey Stone first met as college roommates at Colgate University in the late 1990s. What began as late-night jam sessions soon evolved into a dynamic musical collaboration. With Sartor’s traditional rock sensibilities and Stone’s progressive guitar style, Waver quickly carved out a distinctive sound that captivated audiences from the start.

The duo became a staple of the Boston live music scene in the early 2000s before stepping away to pursue personal and professional ambitions. Their long-awaited reunion in late 2024 was driven by a shared desire to create something meaningful—an album that would honour their roots while showcasing their artistic growth.

Recorded at Ugly Duck Studios, Space and Time highlights the duo’s creative synergy. Sartor delivers lead vocals and multi-instrumental performances, while Stone’s electrifying guitar work and vocals elevate the record’s sonic landscape. Supported by drummer and engineer Brendan McGillin and sound engineer Dan Babai, the album shines with polish and authenticity. Standout tracks include “Always Awake,” “Delivery Is Free,” and the heartfelt “I Miss You.”

With its evocative lyricism and rich instrumentation, Space and Time captures the essence of nostalgia while embracing the present. From “Silvertone” to “You Belong With Me,” the album resonates with listeners old and new alike. Waver’s return proves that great music transcends time—and their story is far from over.

“With ‘Space and Time,’ Waver delivers a powerful return that feels both timeless and deeply personal, capturing the spirit of ‘90s rock while showcasing the growth and chemistry that only decades of collaboration can produce,” shares music publicist Danielle Holian, Decent Music PR.
