Genre-defying artist Marianna Winter releases new single "Consequences"

Marianna Winter, rising Faroese American singer-songwriter, is drawing on her contrasting cultural identities and claiming her place in the music scene. Raised in Los Angeles but now based in the Faroe Islands, Winter combines American assertiveness with a minimalist, funky beat to create a unique sound that fills the Nordic dancefloor. Her latest single, "Consequences", is the second track from her upcoming album and features a Tarantino-inspired music video that is both gory and ironically funny.

Winter admits to having a dark side rooted in jealousy and feeling small, which she has previously tried to hide. However, she has now come to accept and embrace this part of herself. She believes that this imperfect woman is an integral part of who she is and will stand up for herself and those she loves. Winter's experiences of living in multiple cultures with conflicting rules and values have taught her the importance of being true to herself.

With her new single "Consequences", Winter encourages listeners to remove their masks and embrace their imperfections. She hopes that by sharing her own struggles, she can inspire others to be true to themselves and to stand up for what they believe in. Winter's music is a celebration of individuality and a reminder that we are all unique and imperfect in our own way.
